Privacy notice

Last updated 21 October 2026. This notice explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and your rights.

01Who we are

Notsold.co.uk is a trading name of ARSEA LTD, company number 10420699, Camburgh House, 27 New Dover Road, Canterbury, Kent CT1 3DN. ARSEA LTD is the data controller for your information and is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, registration number ZA541228.

For any privacy question or request, email enquiries@notsold.co.uk.

02What we collect

  • Booking details: your name, email address, phone number, the property address, listing link, time on the market and asking price, your reasons for moving and your timescale, chosen service, preferred date, how you heard about us, any notes you add, and your booking reference.
  • Consultation information: details about your property and sale that you share with us, our notes, your written summary or report, and any photographs we take at a property visit with your permission.
  • Payment information: Stripe sends us your name, email, phone number, the amount paid and the payment status. We never see or store your full card details.
  • Correspondence: emails and messages you send us.

03How we use it and why

  • To provide the service you book: arranging your appointment, preparing for it, carrying it out and sending your report. We do this to perform our contract with you.
  • To keep accounts and VAT records: this is a legal obligation.
  • To handle questions, complaints and any legal claims, and to improve our service: these are our legitimate interests.
  • To introduce you to an estate agent or other professional: only when you ask us to, and with your consent.

We will not send you marketing emails unless you have asked us to, and we will never sell your information.

04Who we share it with

We share your information only where needed with:

  • Netlify, which hosts our website and receives booking form submissions;
  • Stripe, which processes your payment;
  • our email and IT service providers;
  • our accountants;
  • the Property Redress Scheme, if you refer a complaint to them;
  • any business we introduce you to, only at your request;
  • the police, HMRC or other authorities, where the law requires it.

Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is protected by UK adequacy regulations or by approved contract terms.

05How long we keep it

  • Bookings, reports and payment records: six years after your service, to meet tax and accounting rules and to deal with any claims.
  • Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: up to 12 months.

After that, we delete or anonymise your information securely.

06Your rights

You have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct it, or to delete it where we no longer need it;
  • object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it;
  • ask us to transfer it to you or another organisation;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

Email enquiries@notsold.co.uk to make a request. We will respond within one month and there is normally no charge.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

07If you apply to join Notsold

If you apply to join our team, we use the details you send us, including your experience, territory and online profiles, to assess your application and contact you about it. We rely on your consent and on our legitimate interest in finding the right people. We may look at the public profiles and links you provide. We keep unsuccessful applications for up to 12 months, then delete them. If we work together, we keep your details for as long as the arrangement lasts and for six years afterwards.

08Cookies

Our website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and Fontshare, which receive your IP address in order to deliver them. When you pay, Stripe's checkout page uses essential cookies for security and fraud prevention. You can read Stripe's privacy policy for details.

09Security

We keep your information on secure, password-protected systems and limit access to people who need it to provide your service.
